The Seoul Journal of Korean Studies is published by the Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies, Seoul National University and is indexed in KCI, SCOPUS, and ESCI. Submission Guidelines
- We welcome submissions from scholars of all disciplines (history, literature, social studies, archaeology, etc.), specifically pertaining to Korea.
- Submissions should be sent to seoul.journal@gmail.com.
- The length must be 6,000~15,000 words (including notes and references), based on the word count function in Microsoft Word.
- Submission must contain an abstract, main text, and references, following Chicago Manual of Style and Revised Romanization of Korean.
- There is no submission, evaluation, or publication fees for authors.
- The journal is published twice a year on June 30th and December 31st.
- There is no specific submission deadline, and submissions are immediately processed for evaluation. The evaluation process normally takes 2~3 month. Please note that it will take extra time if a submission is decided to be “re-evaluated after revisions.”
